If we take that mercedes SHOULD have got 1-2 every race this is what I think it would look like
Ignore grammar issues, wrote this out very quickly after the internet decided to disconnect just as I was posting the original post.
Melbourne:
Lewis 25 points, Nico 18 (Better practice and qually for Lewis, also better start considering he had 5 cylinders yet had a better get away)
Malaysia:
Lewis 25 nico 18
Bahrain:
Lewis 25 Nico 18, Lewis defended fairly in my opinion, and tbh Nico should of never been in that position to fight considering safety car
China:
Lewis 25 nico 18
Spain:
Lewis 25 Nico 18
Moanco:
Lewis 25 Nico 18, it is my opinion, but the Merc have made numerous comments as well as the majority of the paddock who say that if Nico actually made a mistake it would question his driving qualities. Hamilton was ahead by a good amount for Monaco before the incident and had a better chance of getting pole with his better section coming up. Pole was more then likely. He also got a better start then Nico from the dirty side of the grid. He would of won it.
Canada:
Lewis 25, Nico 18. Lewis was crowded out after a better start and SHOULD of been allowed room, Nico took rules into his own position (clearly gained an advantage in cutting the chicane) Lewis was ahead although a bad pitstop but the timing difference was little to the time Lewis had gained in his outlap. Lewis had already been disadvantaged by a bad pitstop as well. Lewis was in front fairly.
Austria:
Nico 25 Lewis 18.
SIlverstone:
Lewis 25 Nico 18
Lewis was gaining very fast. It has been confirmed that there was no gearbox earlier (except from one upshift?) but it was not a recurring issue until it gave up. No time really lost due to gearbox Hamilton was on a better tyre choice and closing and faster and therefore was closing down V.Fast.
Germany:
Nico 25 Lewis 18- One race I haven't seen was- was away. Lewis brake failure caused the issue for him to be so far back, however it's so hard to judge who would of won I'm going with Nico who had the advantage.
Hungary:
Lewis 25 Nico 18, most disappointing race of the year for Nico, even though the bad timing of a safety car Nico should of easily been able to regain his position, I would say he was more deserving of the 4th place he got, which would of been 12 points. Lewis again with problem but amazing race to get back to 3rd, would of clearly won.
Belgium:
Lewis 25 Nico 18. Lewis was ahead, nico crashed into him. It's laughable if you try and deny it. You not justify Nico being the deserving winner here. Again like Hungary you could argue he was more deserving of less then 18 ( A DNF)
Lewis: 286
Nico: 216.
Assuming Hungary and Belgium Nico didn't deserve 18 points.
Lewis: 286
Nico : 192
I will continue to update as the championship continues
I'm happy to make changes if you can bring forward a valid point, however most people who are clearly bias (Strong Lewis fan or strong Nico fan/ Lewis 'hater') will more then likely be ignored as I've read some of the Lewis Vs Nico thread and some points I have seen there have been laughable at best.
