The 7th Revival meeting took place at the week-end. We were blessed with sunshine both days and thankfully with just a couple of "incidents".

The magic of Bo'ness is that the atmosphere is relaxed and very friendly, yet the organisation of the meeting is very professional and slick, without blue blazers or blowing whistles. Apart that is from the steam engine going past.

If you live within reasonable distance and haven't been, I would urge you to go next year, as long as we don't need passports and visas.

Chris

ps. thanks Steve for the brilliant photos, let's have more

Another classic event that clashes with my wife's birthday! :( Sadly, she seems to prefer the comforts of a nice hotel and a slap-up dinner to an enjoyable day at a hillclimb in Bo'ness. Women, eh?

There are some very nice hotels and restaurants in the locale.

It is indeed two one-day meetings so either should provide excellent entertainment with two practice and two timed runs each day. If I could only attend one I would probably choose the Sunday event as some entrants only run on the Sunday.

This year's event, which was blessed with glorious weather, is the subject of a 90 minute programme to be broadcast on Motors TV starting on the afternoon of October 4th and repeated a few times that week. It's presented by yours truly, and the gig was sprung on me at very short notice, like 10 minutes, so no time for preparation. Please forgive all the mistakes.
