The second photo has to be John Surtees in the Honda at the 1968 British GP at Brands. The photo would have been taken either in practice or early in the race, as on lap 35 the rear aerofoil fell off. Surtees survived to finish 5th in the race.

I was going to say the Scheckter pic was from the second quarter of the season because I remember they changed the cockpit surround at the British GP, but having checked a few pictures I believe they changed it back after Germany.

Difficult to say from the car's configuration. As Michael F said, the Scheckter car looked like that in the Belgian, Monaco, Swedish and French GPs before the larger 'windows' appeared at Brands. Later in the season they were using small (oil?) radiators mounted in the nose. However, for the late-season races (from Italy onward, I think) they looked very similar to their early-season configuration. We need someone who can recognise the circuit from the photo.

Another thought: if the interrupted markings on the road indicate the pit entrance, then it can only be Anderstorp!

Hi

My first thought was Anderstorp, venue of the Swedish GP, Scheckter won it in 1976 in that car
