I have started reviewing the Formula One Register "black book" Vol 2 1926-1931 for a 2nd Edition. A succesful driver in French hillclimbs and occaisional racer was Labbay with a 750cc Mathis monoposto. Can any of our French experts help with first name. In "Black Book" Vol 3 uses Jean but a French newspaper report of the 1933 Nice Speed Trials says Robert - but perhaps there were two Labbay ?
