Operator error here. But at least I did get some pics up! Just cannot get the text to attach!
Pic 1 is a 55 Buick, compare with pic 2
Pic 2 is a FJ Holden van, these were never all that common. And the Holden looks oh so basic in comparison too the Buick. Both the same age!
Pic3 is a 52 Ford Convertible.
Pic4 is a Supercharged Auburn Speedster. That car has been in a lot of these runs. And is gorgeous!
Pic5 is different, a Vincent HRD outfit. With a locally made Tilbrook sidecar. I am more used to seeing HRD sidecars that turn right only throwing rooster tails of dirt over speedway fences!
Pic6 is sort of a ring in, though was there working. The Women for Wheels HQ Holden 1 ton motorsport fire unit. 173, 3 on the tree. 43 years old and one owner! It has chased a lot of racecars over the years! F1, F5000, Formula Holden and down. And as a racer I am very glad it has never visited me!
Pic 7. It was a celebration of 100 years of military vehicles so the Army GMC 6x6 is very apt. There was a lot [as usual] military vehicles on the run. It was also 100 years centenary of Dodge too though I never took any Dodgey photos!
Pic 8, a Red Hunter Ariel. My father rode those, and won, in endurance trials when they were new. You modern bikers should appreciate your modern chook chasers!
