I'm confused--if we're to believe those were Alonso's demands of Ferrari and he's not there anymore, why are they prepared to offer the same to Vettel?

Reportedly, Seb is willing to go 3 years with this plan whereas Alonso wanted an out clause in a year so that if Ferrari didn't pan out and another seat was available, he could leave.  Of course it is all rumors, so who knows.
