Dude, relax, note the ;)  in my post.

I just don't see how Sainz or Verstappen should be scared of him.

Fr2.0 eurocup champion in one of the most competitive field
FR3.5 series runner -up + rookie title with no Dams or Fortec against much older drivers by 2 years at least and less than 100 races of car racing

At 18 years old.

Kvyat record back in the end of 2013 was not that impressive

If wins were telling the whole story....

Also Gasly never did F3 or GP3, he made the jump straight to Fr 3.5 series

Gasly looks promising, but Arden are not some bad team in F3.5. Da Costa the year before won multiple races with them as a favourite for the title. And de Vries beat him as a teammate his first year of Eurocup(both as rookies). His GP2 outings weren't inspiring, either.

Now I'm not trying to say he's bad or that he doesn't have a bright future, just that his junior record, while good so far, is not one that jumps out at me as world beater quality or anything.

Anyways, *lots* of quality young drivers coming up right now. Good news for F1!

With Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz jr. being 37 years together. That's the youngest line-up in F1 ever. Has anybody the top-ten of youngest driver-line-ups?
