Anyone else notice Rosberg putting his hat on just as God Save the Queen started at the podium, adjusting it before finally removing it by my count 10 seconds later?

Personally, I don't care, but I find it interesting in the FU team mate episode. Just as Lewis and Valterri remove their hats for the National Anthem, Nico puts his on.

I dont see the big deal in keeping your hat on during any national anthem.

Its because Lewis didn't remove his cap at the start during the Russian anthem so Nico wanted to go one better by not removing it on the podium to win the psychological battle of who can wear their cap at the most inappropriate time :stoned:

What a total non-issue :mad:

It looked to me like he put the cap on and just finished adjusting it when he realised the national anthem had started and pulled it straight back off. Just a moment of daydreaming less than 10 minutes after finishing a full F1 race. Hardly a thing to care about.
