I'd say that:
1. To make the WCC fair for the teams, 3 car teams should only get WCC points from 2 cars.
2. To make the WDC fair for the drivers, all 3 drivers should earn WDC points.
So how to do this?
Should the 3 car teams get the WCC point from their 2 highest scoring drivers at every GP, which isn't completely fair for the other teams since this means they can take strategic chances with one driver without having to worry about losing CC points.
or should they appoint their lead 2 drivers before the season who solely will score the WCC point (so the 3rd car only runs for the WDC, meaning he won't have a real chance since it's in the interest of the team to have the other 2 drivers finish in front of him).
And do the drivers that finish behind 3 other cars from one team move up a spot in the scoring table for WCC points or not? (So let's say pos. 1,2,3 is one team, pos. 4 an other team. Does the guy that finishes 4th get awarded the points for 4th in the WDC battle, but the points from 3rd in the WCC battle? When/since the 3rd driver can't score WCC points?)
What would be the least messy way to govern this? :/
