We know that the 159ci offenhauser engines had about 1200 hp in qualifying trim in 1972 and 1973. Never found anything about the torque. Does someone have some info?

I think they revved up to about 9750 rpm in qualifying trim, so if we take 1200 hp as a true figure then that's about 650 lbs ft of torque at the power peak.

In race trim I think peak torque was about 560 lbs ft, or about 480 at the power peak.
