Dont panic - the bigger teams and powers that be - will act - once it reaches a level where they realise the gravy train is about to hit the buffers......there is no way they will just sit there and watch F1 disappear.

Fairer distribution of wealth, 3 car teams, customers cars or clowns in go carts - they will do something. It will just be a lot later than most of us would consider comfortabel.

Do I hear the sound of deckchairs being rearranged.

3 car teams, customer cars cannot be done overnight, meanwhile the TV audience drifts away, TV companies panic and try to get out of contracts - short term panic changes like megaphone exhausts, sparking cars, double points,.banning radio etc only alter the position of the deckchairs.

Once an audience is lost it takes an awful lot of time, effort and money to get them back - as the marketing line goes - 'It costs nothing to lose customers, but a shedload to get them back'

Don't be silly. The smart ones will get out before it goes belly-up and the stupid ones will think they can still make it work and keep going until there's nothing left. These are not people who are willing to compromise on anything that would adversely affect them.

When will f1 collapse!

When the TV companies are no longer interested in paying the huge fees. It will come.
