Those are interesting 'suggestion' pit entry lines. No one is going to try and straightline that.

Where have we heard that before? Oh wait, this race last year. Didn't even rain in the race.

I also fear if it is wet that after the events of Japan we'll be in for a nanny state Grand Prix.

  that new pit entry.

I always loved Interlagos. This year will bring some of those 'Webber last ever Grand Prix' from last season back at me.

If Hamilton is 25 points clear of Rosberg after this race, I'll root for him 110% the next race.

No F1 driver would ever cross a white line.

Another Lewis masterclass in the rain. Red Bull 2 & 3. Vettel's best chance at a win yet.

Love back-to-back races, especially after such a disappointing one (results wise - the race was good).

Looks like the weather could be an issue. I'm hoping for a bit of rain (not too much, just intermittent). Would be nice to get a good result before the end of the season and I would love to see Jenson leave on a high and grab a podium and I think that's the only possible way it could happen.

Need a bit of magic, not expecting it though - its just been one of those seasons (again).

I think it was a good season. Apart from the tragedy at Suzuka.

Ouch, well at least Honda is on board for next season. Cheer up, at least you are not a massive Raikkonen / Bianchi fan like I am. Ricciardo and his shenanigans are my saving grace, this year.

Anyways, COTA followed by Interlagos? I'd take that any day. Massive atmosphere at both venues.

This should have been the finale instead of somewhere in the Middle East

It usually doesn't bother me, there is always someone to cheer on outside McLaren (Ricciardo, Bottas, Lewis, Kvyat, Hulk and Checo or anyone driving well - even Sutil last Saturday :p) Probably my highlight of the season was Bianchi finishing in the points in Monaco.

but as it looks like Jensons leaving (and I'm a bit sad about that because it only really leaves Kimi and Fernando left from the original drivers that got me hooked on F1 in the 1st place) and as he is a McLaren driver it would be nice to see him go out on a high (and it will somehow convince me that McLaren do know what they're doing and the updates are working, which will bode well for next year and along with the return of Honda and Fernando ... it will be easy to dream over the winter months with no F1 (until its all shattered in Jerez :drunk:)

Love it!

(seriously though its actually easier to just enjoy F1 and all the other teams and battles with no pressure. Really feel for all the Lewis and Nico fans at the moment - the races are torture worrying about DNFs or them having to lap Maldonado)

I can't wait for Brazil, its one of my favourites - it was the first ever race I watched and it always produces something special.

Excellent idea.  Let's solve the double point fiasco by not going to Abu Dhabi!

I do hope they move that crane at the pit entry though.

Another view of the new pit entry. With some extra green paint!

Also, as usual with Brazil the weather forecast is changing constantly. Updated forecast shows Saturday looking very very wet and Sunday not as bad but still damp.

Spa and Suzuka might be slightly be better tracks for driving, but I don't think there's any better track for racing than Interlagos.

Oh, wait.....

Wet race, bring it on.

Am guessing Nico has nothing to lose at this race.... His realistic chance only being a DNF for Lewis at AD.

If Lewis leaves this track with 25 points or more, Nico should abstain from the last race and let Susie Wolff show us if it is really true that any rookie can score P2 in this car :p

Agreed. Lewis will probably  finish either 1st, 2nd or DNF in Brasil and Abu Dhabi.

So there a two realistic scenarios which would make Rosberg WDC, and both require Hamilton to DNF in Brasil or AD.

In my opinion, Brazil is the best place for the season finale. The races here are nearly always thrilling and weather can create a mix up. Surely that provides the perfect backdrop for a title deciding race? We've already seen how boring the 2010 season finale was despite 4 contenders. Just compare that to the 2007/2008 and 2012 title deciders.

My app, which is "weatherpro", suggests thunderstorms and so much rain for Saturday that it looks like a non starter however, Sunday just a 3% chance. I'll qualify that by saying on Sunday, we had more rain in an hour between 8 and 9, as much as the total of the last 4 years, and the app wasn't forecasting a drop.

He gambled to stay on dry tyres when almost everybody came in for a change to inters a few laps before the end and it just started to rain heavier on the last lap.

The gamble still paid off in a way as he was 7th before almost everybody changed their tyres and he still finished 6th.

So one is going to have to decide if you want a wet setup and qualify high up or get a dry setup for the race and focus on the race but you might qualify lower.

A quick phone call from Ron Dennis to Toyota, a few million under the table, and the rest is history.

Also, didn't realise Ham was dating that popstar way back then, I thought the celebrity stuff kicked in a year or two later. Is she still around?

Brazil has been the site of some amazing races. As an Alonso fan I still can't bear to watch the first lap of 2012. How Vettel spun, got whacked by another car and the ****er just kept going...something I will never understand

Rain makes a difference, especially when you're on dry tyres......

Glock's last lap: 1.44.731

Trulli's last lap (maybe the only one on the same tyres) : 1.44.800

No. Glock had a bigger then 15s gap, it was slowly eroded as the infers come in and they drys go out. I know it's hard for many of you to understand, but there's a point that a tyre can't clear enough water, hence why you need to swap. We've seeen it so many before time tumble when the rain gets heavy, that's what happened hear and you are crazy to think overwise.

Also, Toyato accepting a few million, no. They were not a back marker team with no money

So if Hamilton has a power unit failure in Brazil, forcing him to use a 6th one, would he still have to start from the pits in AD?

This effectively makes Brazil and Abu Dhabi a double reliability, double points, double heart rate special.

I'm not sure I can watch the last 2 races.

Forecast looks typically unpredictable which will be fun. Good news for RB and probably Lewis.

Is homeboy Nasr in the Williams again for FP1?
