Here's a wonderful new video from the Morgan people, narrated by the workers themselves. These folks have been making cars this way since around the time of Moses. Many great glimpses of ancient processes -- including the ash body framework and hand-formed aluminum panels. A must-see for you lot, I think.

Very neat...

But it didn't show some things I'd think were as or more interesting. Like the forming of the mudguards, the sliding pillar suspension and using the wheel on the bonnet. And is the nose fibreglass now?

Wow. A thousand reasons to own a Morgan.

The nosepiece is aluminum but appears to be a pressing... possibly done offsite. I think it has been some years since the sliding-pillar suspension was used, but I wouldn't know what year.

Pressed panels?  No  sliding pillars?  Sir John Harvey-Jones must be spinning in his grave.

I have seen a different clip to this and I feel they were pressing many smaller panels. There is several factories on site and dont think this clip showed them all

Interesting car but still archaic. I have no wish to own one ever.
