Dumbest thread in a long time.
I second that.
That race is part of the season. Then every team should retire not to make "unfair" gains over the others.

It's the rules of the game, like it or not, that nico could win this. I'm a Lewis fan and I can accept this, even if I don't agree with it. You need to get over it and realise that you don't always get what you deserve in life.

No. A world championship is won over a season not a race.
If Nico's car had not failed in Singapore then he wouldn't be 24 points behind, it is highly likely he'd have been at least second and would only be 6 points behind at this stage.
In points terms rather than being nearly 1 race win behind Nico would be a 7th place behind.

Definitely not. I think that would be an unreasonable thing to do.

Hamilton fan logic at it's finest there.

I vote yes.
And all the other drivers should park, produce trombones and trumpets from their cockpits and give an impromptu brass band performance.
If Rosberg refuses to stop Hamilton should hit him with a chair on the podium.
After all, that's what sport should be about.

Merc don't care who wins.
If Hamilton wins then the most marketable driver in F1 wins (although that could backfire in contract negotiations if it is true they want to reduce Hamilton's salary, then again they always have Alonso waiting in the wings).
If Rosberg wins then a German driver wins and the bigwigs at Merc are likely to keep wanting to fund the F1 team for years to come.
Obviously they would prefer the drivers don't take each other out or have a reliability problem that the media could question as being suspicious, but at the end of the day they just want one of them to win the championship and that objective has already been met.
