Did I miss something, or was Hülkenberg's 'pass' on Bottas not investigated? If so, that's pretty odd considering the various penalties for 'forcing another driver off track' in previous events.

Good race by most people.

Was hardly a massive mistake, how on Earth could it have led to a DNF???

Probably means old-school stuff like gravel pits or guard-rails would have ended the race right there.

Is there anywhere we can see the real driver's press conference? I find the podium interview pretty rubbish normally and today's was just plain pathetic (Piquet living up to his old self of being a complete tool).

I honestly cannot believe that F1 is stupid enough to have a press conference that isn't actually shown anywhere!

And the text from that podium interview. This makes F1 look stupid, not engine noise!

Hamilton, I have been for a long time very jealous of you - not only of your driving but also of your old girlfriend. Where is Nicole?

Lewis Hamilton: ...She's at home.

OK, say hello to her and you did fantastic. I think everything will stay in the last race. It's very good.

I wonder what Nico said as he collected the champagne bottle and cap from the podium step...looked like he was cursing and then realized the camera was there and took an embarrassed look back as he walked away.

Sorry if this has been covered already, but I didn't see the race so I'm at a loss to explain something.

How the hell did Romain Grosjean get the 6th fastest race lap?

6  Romain Grosjean  1:14.070

What did he do, cut through the paddock?

That's only half a second off the fastest lap?

Maybe they got on the radio and told him he had a set of 'matched perfect staggered specials' fitted at the last stop or something?'

Soft tyres plus light fuel load

Didn't he make a very late stop? Low fuel and fresh tyres, plus perhaps a little extra from the about-to-expire engine? :p

There were four drivers who started on mediums and three of them finished (or planned to finish) with softs: Hülkenberg, Kvyat and Grosjean. NH was 3rd and DK 8th in fastest lap ranking so it was not only applicable to Grosjean.

Sutil also started with mediums but he used MMSM strategy.

Hulkenberg was the driver of the race.

The car was absolute crap all weekend.

He gambled on a strategy and executed perfectly.

Pretty poor capture, but this was Nico seemingly cursing:

I think it's what Ted K was referring to when he asked Nico in the press conference why he was unhappy coming off the podium.
