I always liked this car, which you can see at this website on LeMans entries in 1966

It is car No. 24. They call it Serenissima Spyder and then in small print say ATS V8

It as driven by Jean Claude Sauer and Jean de Mortenart. It DNF'd. I gather it has been in storage for the last 50 years or so, maybe at a mechanic's shop. The reclusive Count Volpi hinted on a Ferrari forum that even if he doesn't own his cars anymore he said something to the effect of "you can't replicate the experience" and I agree with him, owning one of those cars today you can't get the same feeling you could then. The only ATS I know of that "got out" of his hands (not counting the single seaters) was the Jet coupe that showed up at Villa d'Este. So what I would like to get an opinion on is; does he still own it? And if so, what would be its estimated value today?

And am I the only one that thinks it looks like a Ferrari 275P? Was a designer's name for chassis or body ever linked to it? Was there a street version? I have seen the race car pictures but there seems to be a street version with chrome bumpers. Of course that could have been the LeMans car latter fitted out for street use but if I had enough pictures of each I think I would be right in saying it's two different cars (or how about two different bodies for one chassis?) Appreciate any opinions...

The one I call the street version is pictured here: http://media-cache-e...60201373453.jpg
