I couldn't see a thread so thought I would make one seeing as SFW is a legend.
Get well soon Sir Frank

Ah that would explain the "Inability of the Deputy Team Principal to attend the Media Conference" stewards report.
Get well soon Sir Frank.

Wasn't there a job listing on the Williams website a few weeks ago for looking for a full time carer for Frank?
I hope it isn't connected to that and him maybe having to seek sub standard care in the mean time.

Somewhat surprised that Claire is at his bedside for "routine treatment" rather than with the team this weekend......

Yep. This makes me a tad suspicious. Hopefully its nothing more.

He already has quite a big care team around him all of the time. 2 or 3 in the inner circle that deal with the more intimate tasks and then some extra relief during the day. I don't think he will have suffered because of sub-standard care.

After losing her Mother last year she is probably just ultra worried, she knows whats important in life.

I'm also a bit worried about Claire staying with him at the hospital. But Sir Frank lost his wife last year and Claire probably wants to be close to her father this time - because she is worried about him after losing her mother, and also because Frank probably appreciates a close family member being close to him on these difficult days.

'Several weeks' in the hospital for a pressure sore usually means the patient is at stage 3 or 4. The risk of bone or blood infection at stage 4 is high.
Best wishes

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Sir Frank. I don't know of many people who can do all that Sir Frank does given his age and injury. I hope to see him trackside again soon!

Ouch. I read an article recently where Frank talks about how he uses a 'stand-up' wheelchair for several hours each day, partially to help avoid getting pressure sores.

Claire was in Brazil, so I assume that there's nothing too serious up with Frank. No news, though.

IIRC Frank Williams was sick and/or in the hospital lately. That's why Claire wasn't at the track in Japan. He was suffering from wounds from lying in the bed (i'm sorry, i don't know the English word for it) and she decided to stay by his side then.
I don't know how Sir Frank's condition is now, but Claire was at least in Brazil.

I think he had a back operation & had to spend some time in hospital. Don't believe he was sick as such.
