Vettel not there? He's already getting lazy.

He was over at Mercedes negotiating his 2016 contract.

Autosport: Ferrari Formula 1 team urged not to fear change by new boss

Sergio Marchionne at the Christmas Ferrari event:

"In this room, there are many very talented people," said Marchionne.

"I am here to get you working at your best and to give you the necessary resources, which when combined with your ability will put our fantastic driver pairing in a position to fight for the front row. That's why I decided to bring in Maurizio Arrivabene, who will ensure that you and Ferrari will benefit from very efficient leadershiI have full confidence in Maurizio. He has known this world for a long time and has the ability to steer the Scuderia in what is a difficult period for it and for Formula 1 in general. Do not fear change, be proactive and have the courage to come up with ideas. I know you can do it and that's what Ferrari needs."

I've heard those kind of words a few times in the past. I was typically followed 3 months later by a large round of redundancies or, in one case, the company closing the entire London and Copenhagen operation.

Is that Fernando's six tenths they are burying

Seriously - does anyone know what they are doing?

and don't they normally all dress as Santa at the Ferrari Christmas party? Always some great photos to chuckle at, I am missing that. :(

They invited Alonso for Christmas?

Technically he is still a Ferrari employee until the 31st.

Yes, traditionally they invite all the children and put on a bit of a show for them, all very charming. Has that gone?

They cannot invite the children anymore. They are all under contract from Toro Rosso.

Does anyone know what happened with the whole Alonso not confirming he was leaving Ferrari saga? Does this mean that he got his payout in the end or just that he had to wait until McLaren were happy to reveal the signing?

Some type of renewal ceremony. Methinks they are burying something:Their hopes.

Kimmi's there because they told him they would drown their sorrows in vodka.

Darn... that pic gives me the creeps. Marchionne looks like a absolute unkown compared to Monty. It's strange to assume all these changes in such a short period of time - and I do not have the feeling that the changes are for good.

Same here..   Can you image the Mercedes board, McLaren or RedBull management doing such a picture, taken jn what looks like some guys' backyard?

I know it's FIAT etc...  but still this pic makes Ferrari look like a little family business ran by some enthusiasts.

Not to speak about the guy in the uniform, whoever he is...   :|

That's the issue, it's all FIAT now.
