Sam Bird won the 2nd e-Prix of the History around the streets of Putrajaya, a beautiful city near Kuala Lumpur. A dominant performance, after passing the Pole-man Oriol Servia in classy fashion.

But behind Bird were fireworks and great racing every lap, with Di Grassi and Buemi recovering from the back. Quick Nick was crashed out by Frank Montagny in the early stages of the race, while Bruno Senna suffered a massive crash on the last lap, going into the marbles while trying to dive into Buemi at the Hairpin.

Honorable mention to the huge Trulli e-Train, majestic!

A lot of action, drama, crashes, racing. Track was great imho, lot of elevation changes, bumps and fast corners. Loved it.

So.. how do you rate the Malaysian e-Prix in Putrjaya?

My picks:

Race Rating: 9/10
Best Driver: Sam Bird
Worst Driver: Ho-Pin Tung/Legge
Best Team: e-Dams
Best Overtake: Bird on Servia
Best Moment: All the race was just entertaining
Honorable mention to: Trulli's e-Train
Circuit rating: 8/10
Broadcast: 7/10. Not the best of the performances from Franchitti e co. Also, again website crashes.

And the race in a sentence: Adrenalinic

I think I may need to re-watch it before I try to answer. I think trying to stay up to watch practice and quali was a mistake as the race was a bit of a blur in my sleep deprived state. Was good fun though and the fact I didn't fall asleep I think is testament to a great race, certainly lots of action throughout. The top 3 all stood out, Bird for a good overtake to grab the lead and then controlled the race very well and Di Grassi and Buemi fought up through the field in great style.

The sound still doesn't sit right with me. Almost hurts a bit.

Definitely some racing going on there.

Pity they have to use low profile road tyres. Even karts have proper high profile slicks. Anyone know why this is?
