what is the relationship between Formula Atlantic, Pacific, Formula SCCA and F2000?

 

I tried reading the articles on wikipedia and searching online but all I got was a mass jumble of confusing information, from what i can see, Formula Pacific seemed to be overlap with the early days of Champ car before it folded, then it evolved into Formula SCCA??

 

Much appreciated if someone could shed some light on this

F2000 was Formula Ford with more powerful 2 liter engines (vs. 1600cc) and wings.

 

Formula Atlantic = Formula Pacific, and at one time slotted in-between F3 and F2.

 

dunno what Formula SCCA is.
