For example, Ferrari said they would produce 399 Enzos but if you do further research and find the number of actual Enzo's produced it is in excess of 460, possibly around 500. This is also true as one of my personal client in New York has an Enzo that says '1 of 399' but with his VIN production number and on the Enzo register it is identified one built as 'post-production'. As all LaFerraris and P1s are sold out, I'm willing to bet Alonso will get a P1 and Vettel a LaFerrari despite being 'sold-out'.
they were originally going to build 349 but they ended up with 399 and built the 400th and donated it to charity.
