Se here we are, the last race of the season is over and again we have two Drivers of the Weekend.
First we have Lewis Hamilton:
- He completed 84 practice laps. (guess range: 59 to 76 laps, average 69.07)
- He finished 2nd in qualifying (guess range: 1st to 2nd, average 1.50)
- He set a time that was 0.4 seconds slower than pole (1:40.866 vs. 1:40.480) (guess range: -0.2 s to 0.3 s, average 0.01 s)
- He finished the race in 1st place (guess range: one retirement, 13 finishes in 1st to 2nd position, average 1.38)
- His fastest lap in the race was 1.2 s slower than the fastest (guess range: -0.2 s to 0.3 s (and one guess that he would not complete a single lap), average 0.08 s)
- He entered the pit lane twice (guess range: 0 to 3, average 1.93)
A large number of practice laps, a slowish qualifying lap and a really slow fastest lap.
Here are the points deductions for this round as usual:
- 0.985 points/lap
- 9.804 points/position
- 36.74 points/second
- 10.08 points/position
- 15.57 points/second
- 8.262 points/visit
And here are the results:
After a short hiatus, Mekola returns in style and wins the round. In second and third are Apex and kismet.

Then we have the second round of the week, featuring Jean-Eric Vergne.
- He completed 76 practice laps. (guess range: 42 to 78 laps, average 64.21)
- He finished 10th in qualifying (guess range: 12th to 16th, average 12.93)
- He set a time that was 1.3 seconds slower the fastest time in Q3 (1:42.207 vs. 1:40.920) (guess range: 1.3 s to 3.2 s, average 1.86 s)
- He finished the race in 12th place (guess range: 7th to 14th position, average 10.86)
- His fastest lap in the race was 1.2 s slower than the fastest (guess range: 0.8 s to 3.1 s, average 1.83 s)
- He entered the pit lane three times (guess range: 2 to 3, average 2.07)
With the exception of the race result, he did slightly better than we expected, but not dramatically so. Only 2aron correctly guessed the number of pit stops.
Here are the points deductions for this round:
- 0.488 points/lap
- 3.830 points/position
- 9.067 points/second
- 2.551 points/position
- 8.489 points/second
- 18.85 points/visit
And here are the results:
2aron dominates this round by outsmarting the rest of us on the pit stop question. M2000-5 and I share second place.

Going into the last two rounds, four players still had realistic chances to win the title. With Makarias and markf1 doing quite poorly in the first round, that number dropped to two. None of our contenders did particularly well in the last round either, but kismet came out way ahead of wattoroos, so...
kismet is the champion!
wattoroos finishes second.
Makarias finishes third.
Congratulations!
