Anyone recognise this circa 1982 logo?

The shield like sponser logo (below Plastic Padding) as found on WSR's 1982 F3 Ralt for the televised end of season race at Thruxton - a certain Mr da Silva at the wheel.

A decent example of it courtesy of Sutton images via

or a clearer version via Motorsport-Magazin.com

I've done a bit of research to find it missing on the first set of Thruxton tests he did in that car, it was present but sited elsewhere on the tests at Snetterton and re-appearred again for the race above.  It seems a late edition; as was the Plastic Padding logo and many shots (presume practice) show it without.

Any help in determining what it is are welcomed - modelling this car in at least one of it's variations from testing through the race.

Amazing how many two headed eagle like images Google will throw up!

regards and thanks

Neil

Seems to read "LUXOR" or something similar across the top, and there's an "L" on the eagle's chest.

I'm seeing LUXON, but haven't been able to locate an appropriate logo to back it up.

Thanks gents.  I got the Sutton images print through the post today and it's more LUXOR than LUXON and from other shots conclude the background colour is red with white bird(s) and text and the central L has a degree of swirl / serif about it.

Hints of feathers or even further text below the upper part of the tail.

Enough to replicate it well enough for scale model use but still no idea of its origin.  Suspect it may have Brazilian links however and being end of season likely has some transport / travel type context.

No doubt with the power of the web it'll appear whilst looking for something entirely unrelated!
