Ramblings about forum progressions in the 2014 GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition:

Nextgen-Auto: Again they were the great winners this year. Thanks for the full support by Azur, our official French translator and round winner, the Competition ran at full speed in the Francophone section of this forum. albertascari was the Champion, and masahiro the runner-up; both also round winners and eventual leaders of the Competition in its length. The Champion also was the author of the highest score in a round, at Yas Marina. J-L and SUTIL were also round winners. Chapeau for the great effort they did winning at last the Forums Championship, well supported as the forum with most inscriptions in all season.

Autosport: Excellent consecutive runner-ups this year. With scheivlak as their best scorer, promised with the good ol' Makarias and Costaz, both round winners. They were more at the start of the season, but only Bleu and Starchild showed some consistency along the named during the rounds. Great thanks for the support given to the Competition from this very respectable forum.

UOL Esporte Brasil: This Brazilian forum had Iscurrega as their round winner and best forum scorer. Pandora da Fiel and Killua also won rounds. They scored the same amount of points as the forum below, but won the tie-breaker when they had better score in a round than the other one.

Los Tuercas: With the presence of an Argie racer in the first four rounds, despite the races were TV-broadcasted in Argentina, it was the same as last year, albeit mantained a core of four regular concursants who retained an honourable fourth place. facha was the best of the pack, and Das Kleine Wunder and myself were the round winners of the forum. Great thanks for Los Tuercas for all the attention to the Competition done all over the year.

CarAndDriverTheF1: Due to presence of people coming from other communities, this forum increased slightly its presence and importance this year. Henderseil was their only round winner, and IVAN -the other only regular scorer. pelagra, for his part, did an occasional entry at some stages of the season. We still miss F1wingwins who did collaboration and support to the Competition in previous seasons.

Ten-Tenths: The core forum of GP2 TWPC was still unlike previous editions... They simply struggled in the quantity of players. chunterer was their best scorer, mainly by consistency. There were other occasional players, but mainly it was TR Motorsport who was the brighthest of them. Wish them better luck next season.

Pasión F1: This Facebook group entered this year and were the rookies. With Mara Lopez as their best scorer, had also mbravozapata and omsardano as their round winners. Great thanks to this community, that helped the Competition to learn about life in Facebook groups outside traditional forums.

F1Revolution: This forum diminished its participation to only one regular player, Hectorg. raulpcstr helped to be the second most consistent user, but given up after mid-season. Hope this forum could remain better things for next season.

ClubF1: This Spanish forum had only Josef1 as regular player, but the season finished with no participations, perhaps by lack of Spanish drivers. Hope the forum could back-track to better days on participations.

La Máxima: The other newcomer forum of this season did only slightly presences in only two rounds. Pierre Nodoyuna was who did the best and then was the best scorer, the other was donux. We thank them for the possibility gave to the Competition at their high-profile community that isn't only a forum but also made its presence in social networks.

Twitter: As the official Twitter channel of the Competition, it allowed to participate in a 140-character entry form using driver codes, but no-one took the challenge to do so. We decided that from now onwards, this channel will be only used to talk about the progression of the Competition during the year.

In an aftermath, the season showed a wane in the number of players, perhaps because GP2 isn't a novelty and many drivers are almost unkown to the users. Fortunately, it was TV presence in Latin America, so people of forums of those latitudes could see the races during the year. But after all, we have to show gratitude to many users who trusted and put consistence to participate in this Competition.

About 2015 Nextgen-Auto, Autosport, UOL Esporte Brasil, Los Tuercas, Ten-Tenths, Pasión F1 and ClubF1 are ensured to continue; the rest will be put in consideration. Alas, we're opened to new communities to join - If you are in a forum or Facebook group where is interest on GP2 Series and want our Prediction Competition running there, give notice to us!

On a last note, you may have noted there are FR 3.5 and Formula E Two Worlds Prediction competition running alongside GP2 one - that is cause these series are the main feeder series of F1, regarding drivers, or an alternate one, regarding Formula E. These politics are keen to continue in 2015. These politics are keen to continue in 2015. As we said before, the key name of the competition is "Two", since that number refers that the nature of the Two Worlds Prediction Competitions are following the predictions of the most important runner-up formula series which are under Formula One.
