This was held yesterday [7th Dec.], and there were by chance, 70 people there - despite the dreadful weather.

Brian Blacker - member since 1947 - cut the 70th birthday cake, and we all had some.

Dick Willis couldn't make it there, to recieve his 'Gordon Stewart Trophy'....awarded for his fine efforts in Historic Racing.

Greg, nice to see the VSCCA getting a mention and, you're right, the attendance was good despite the wild weather.

BTW Dick Willis won the John Crouch trophy for participation in historic motor sport and not the Gordon Stewart Trophy for competition in an early MG which I won. A fella called Greg Mackie won the Clementine Cup for the Vintage Car of the year with his 1924 Minerva !
