The only person that can control 'Ron' is Trevor Philips.

He does that very well considering how paranoid Ron is.

Oof ... Kate Walker. That reads like a McLaren ad seeking investors...like one of those full-page newspaper ads that pretends to be a news article.

"So why relinquish any piece of a potentially profitable pie? Your guess is as good as mine"

A **** pie that's been baked for 7 years will still taste of **** nonetheless......unless the recipe is changed.

But McLaren has made some money in that time, at least the F1 team has. No idea about the group as a whole but it's easy to check.

So presumably there could be dividends for the owners.

And Ron could be buying at a premium in which case the sellers are, wait for it, making money off their investment. Which is the point.

Sometimes in contracts there are 'buy/sell' clauses that can compel a party to sell out to or buy another party's shares. For example, party A wants to buy out party B, who does not want to sell. Party B can then be compelled to buy out party A. I'm not saying that's necessarily the kind of thing that's going on here, but there could be any number of triggers in the contracts that could cause either side to buy out the other.

Let's say the Bahrainis or Ojjeh told Dennis they wanted to buy him out (rumor a while back was the Ojjeh wanted him gone), but Dennis didn't want to sell. Under a buy/sell clause Dennis would have a deadline by which to buy out the Bahrainis/Ojjeh or succomb to their buyout.
