The sung and unsung heroes of F1

Bourne from a discussion in a thread where it did not really belong, I was questioning what Peter Podromou had actually 'done' to warrant the praise heap on him coming to McLaren, me undervaluing his ability or not it got me thinking since I did not really have a grasp of the relative importance of the various 'creators' of the cars, who else were I either not aware of, or aware but not giving due credit.

Below is a list of the Technical Directors, Designers and Aerodynamists for the past 2 seasons as far as I can dig them up, there are most certainly some I have missed out, and possibly some which were there in name and nothing else. Sometimes the teams assign different titles on the technical people than what fits compared to other teams, meaning some can be moved between the boxes doing dual work.

Technical Director
--
Andrew Green
Mark Smith
James Allison
Pat Fry
Nick Chester
Nikolay Fomenko
Tim Goss
Paddy Lowe
Bob Bell
James Key
Pat Symonds
Mike Coughlan

Design
--
Ian Hall
Lewis Butler
Nikolas Tombazi
Martin Tolliday
John McQuilliam
Neil Oatley
Aldo Costa
Adrian Newey (also Technical Director)
Ben Butler
Eric Gandelin
Matt Morris
Luca Furbatto
Ed Wood

Aerodynamics
--
Simon Phillips
John Iley
Giuseppe Azzolini
Dirk de Beer
Doug McKiernan
Mike Elliot
Peter Podromou
Willem Toet
Nicolo Petrucci
Jason Somerville

Any of these guuys who will become household names in the future, not on a Newey and Byrne level but as The guy to have? Any who are overrated and will fall from sight? Any jewels in the rough? Who did I miss/

Much as I think I know everything, there are names here which have never registered with me.

Jock Clear.
The man is a genius at understanding drivers and their psychology.

Dirk de Beer because his name is funny.
