Is it really over 14 years since I joined this forum? 14 years of great friendship and vast enjoyment.

A fine sentiment, Rob. May I, too, wish everyone a fond holiday wish and a great new year.

.. and a Healthy & Safe 2015.
Visions of Old Father Time in a high vis jacket and steel toe capped boots, and a protective shroud on his scythe..... "Oi, be careful , you could 'ave someone's eye out wiv that thing".
As I relax on my MFI sofa in front of a brand new 625 line TV with four (count 'em, four!) channels, watching Morecambe and Wise and munching a Vesta Beef Curry, washed down with generous draughts from a Watney's Party Seven, I wish you all a Nostalgic Christmas. You know, one when the Ford Cortina won't start in the morning and you have to go to your Auntie's on the train*.
* yes children, in the old days, they used to run trains on Christmas Day....

I have bought my Christmas present already- 3 day Silverstone Classic ticket. Next motor sport is a single stage rally on 29th but another three long months before the Caterham and I go adventuring together early in the morning en route to a race circuuit.
Seasons greetings to all. Or even Merry Christmas- I don't buy into this 'happy holidays' nonsense.

Yuletide Greetings, Happy Saturnalia, and a prosperous New Year to y'all. As for the climate here in Manchester, well what can you say ? Even our Weathergirl is called Sara Blizzard.
Down 'ere in the south-west one of our weather girls is far more seasonally festive: Holly Green!
May I wish you all my usual festive Bah! Humbug! And, as the late great Dave Allen put it may your god go with you.
