Golly, I'm bored.

The Livery Thread looks like a damp squib this year.

Those pillock club tossers are so damn serious the Randy Andy topic now reads like a deposition.

There are many photos in that post that are All Wrong.

However, Kasey Kahne appears to be holding the world's smallest Candle Salad (nsfw).

These statements are completely true.

I think people are a bit busy right now, for that livery thread to blossom. At least, I need a little bit more time to do my Wolf Blitzer CNN inspired livery.

That picture with Kahne was dead-on. The majority of the rest are nightmare fuel.

Did anyone see Edwards new ride? Here it is:

I love orange. But the dude is way too orange.

At the very worst, we still have Daytona 24H and Robby Gordon doing inane BS through South America to look forward too 'til late February.

You could have popped the Kurt Busch/ex girlfriend as assassin big story of today in the opening post and it would have worked fine as a spoof.

I know right?

I was thinking, when I read the article this morning, how my stupid topic couldn't even hold the hilarity of this ineffable declarations' lunch box.Try to be stupid and get it thrown back in your face 6000 times better.

I say NASCAR should just scrap the upcoming season and air the Kurt Busch court proceedings instead. I'm willing to bet it would easily double in ratings.

great idea but there aren't going be enough seats in the courtroom. i suggest that nascar petition to have the trial heard in courtrooms in the towns of each race.

they would have guaranteed sellouts that way,

With 16 judges on the first day in court, 12 judges on the second day...

I think it is a new prototype design from this outfit:

Concealed-Carry.jpg

This company offers a unique guarantee - if a customer can produce a valid police report confirming that she was involved in a hit altercation

in which she had to shoot through her Concealed Carrie, they will replace the damaged bag for free. Gotta be a sure-fire USP for Patti!

I'm surprised that they are allowed to advertise drugs on a car. Cockney rhyming slang:

'arris - Harris Tweed - speed - amphetamines.

Or

'arris - Harris Tweed - weed - marijuana.

And if thing could not get any more shocking... Nascar will be using technology to spot pit road violations.

But nowhere in the newsbit does it say the tech will actually work. And neither will this be used on the trucks and xfinity.

Hmm, I feel I need Kwasniewski in the Cup for 2016 now.

It will be seriously weird without JG in NASCAR, from I was at the age where I understood basics, he's been driving, and been my favorite in NASCAR...

It is a little surprising to see Gordon hang it up considering how well he ran last year. He had the best overall season and would have been champion in any other non-circus act form of motorsports. That's the best he had ran in 4 or 5 years. Sure, he'd win a race or so but he was never really a title contender since like 08 or 09, just a top 10ish guy. He looked like the Jeff Gordon of old last season and that seemed to energize him quite a bit. But then when you factor in his back situation that keeps giving him trouble and the fact that he really wants to spend time with his kids while they're still young, it doesn't seem so surprising. It will definitely seem odd to not see him out there anymore since he's been around for so long. All I know is NASCAR better hope they find another popular guy because if Gordon's fans leave with him, they really will be hurting. Him and JR probably make up 80% of the fan base.

Almost hard to believe Gordon's 'just' 43 considering he's been around since the last race of '92. I honestly wonder if the chase stuff had some effect on him calling it now specifically for full seasons. After an excellent year he had to watch Hamlin and Newman race for the title in the finale. Also remember 2007 - overall he had 350 points more than Johnson but it wasn't enough then as well. I think of him as being a forerunner for many of the recent NASCAR stars who started young with a top-level team, a pattern that has continued with most of the top drivers since then. Hendrick also must be keen to get Elliott in the mix after losing BK and Kyle to other teams recently.

Anyone know when nascar use to publish the start times in their app?

You used to be able to press "sync season" and all start times jumped right into your calendar, time-zone adjusted and all :(

Happy for David, he's been outperforming that front row machine for a while and as short as it will be im glad he's got another chance at a top team after his spell at Roush, plus I felt bringing Jones in now would have been too early.

Ther was a blurb on Jayski yesterday that Reuti let his license lapse and needed the physical as well which was why he couldn't take a seat in the 34 car for Atlanta.  IIRC it's US$2500 or so for the license and the physical is pretty easy to get as well.

I've never been, but for what it's worth I've read enough glowing tales of the Glen on here and other racing sites to want to go there on good word alone, nevermind the fact it's an awesome track with beautiful scenery.

I just read Autosport's definitive work on what they call an "analysis of all the most significant tin-top series in the world" entitled: Which is the best tin-top series?

They never mentioned NASCAR once.

In America, they call that a classic example of "Head-up-your-Ass".

There once was a country called Britain.

A place only white folk could live in.

They've let in the masses and spank their own asses

And look at themselves through rose glasses.
