Superb. Makes Mount Panorama look like a Tilkedrome.

Wonderfully-evocative photo, Doug.
Stefan, modestly, didn't provide a link to his film; here it is;
I particularly enjoyed the "tearing calico" engine sound at the beginning.
We can only admire drivers who negotiated this road at high speed in powerful cars, particularly at times when when the road surface was as seen in the film.
The film is about seven minutes long; what was a fast/record time for this course?

Hillclimbing, at least in its continental guise, is probably the only chance to get a glimpse of what motorsport used to be like - in virtually every respect.

The engine Sound in the beginning is from an MATRA V12
by the way... how can one paste a Video in here?

" ... how can one paste a Video in here?".
Ray Bell is our resident expert on posting images and things so he may give better advice but my simple method is to find the video on u-tube or elsewhere, highlight and copy the web address and paste it into a post.
Do you know what a "good" time on this hill was?

No need to travel abroad, Rob Turnbull charging through the Tunnel at Doune. This part of the track remains unaltered to this day.

Struggling here...the course looks fine to me...rock walls and rock embankments, Armco (all of which would slow or impede progress progressively if struck)...no problem. The trees are another matter, but, on a scale of 1-10 for track safety I would give it a 7.
