Williams Documentary!

Thought I'd share this one with you guys, had pleasure of camera operating on this.

 

Talked to the very interesting Dickie Stanford about Williams heritage and in particular the FW-14B.

WHat interested me here was the mention of how many cars they look after!  Over 120!

 

Where are the rest then? Storage presumably, loaned?

I know it's naïve but, if I see that robotic supermachine which the FW14B is, then I would like to see the best drivers of nowadays (e.g.Hamilton, Alonso) how fast they would drive with that car with the same specifications from that time on a track which haven't been changed regarding length and layout (Magny Cours probably?) and like to compare their times with that of Mansell's from 1992 and see whether they are faster than Mansell or not...

For people who are interested, a documentary made at the time has a bit more about the car, including an extended bit of video of the engine on the dyno, at 8:20...
