Just a quick note to say that I'm in the process of organising a Mini only track day event on May 2nd/3rd at Blyton Park. Admission is by voluntary donation to Alzheimer's Society, lots of historic Minis ,Mini based specials and derivatives in attendance and on track throughout the weekend.

 

Special guests in attendance over the weekend will include ex BMC works navigator Mike Wood who will be giving a slide show/talk on Saturday evening, Gordon Spice, Anita Taylor, Warwick Banks, Whizzo, Jeff Williamson, Barry Hawkins and more to be announced.

Yes the first link is correct, thank you. the second one is from last year. Gordon Spice will be reunited with a Britax/Downton '69 race car , Anita Taylor with her '63 Aurora Gears race Mini, Warwick Banks with a Cooper Car Co version and Whizzo (and possibly Alec Poole) with the British Vita '68 ETCC winning Cooper S.

This weekend folks!

Blyton Park will host it's second 'Mk1 Performance' classic Mini event, entry by donation to our chosen charities : Macmillans and Alzheimers. Starring (at 11.30 on Saturday) Gordon Spice, Whizzo Williams, Anita Taylor, Warwick Banks, Jeff Williamson, Bill Needham, Bob Fox, Barry Hawkins, Mike Wood etc in some of the cars they raced and rallied in the 60's. We have Maguires, Minisprints, Ogles, Cox GTM, Broadspeed, Unipower GT, works rally cars, Vita Minis, Twin Cams, 8 ports and lots more on display and on the track all weekend.

Grrrr...if anyone can post these photos for me I'd appreciate it, I've always used copy and paste from photobucket and now it won't work. no wonder this forum's a shadow of it's former self!

Ignore any annoying adverts that might might pop up...click the big red x top right hand corner to get rid of it

Scroll Right/Down to see Share Links (3 options)

Click on the IMG line and it should go yellow and say "copied"

Go to your post, and Paste the image where you want it.

[PS: you may have to toggle the TNF light switch several times to make it accept your pasted image]

Cross Fingers! Ohhh and hold your mouth right way!

That's exactly what I've been doing for years, but it just doesn't paste from this laptop. Will try later on the PC.

If you are using CTRL-P or right clicking etc then it is the Forum software that is the problem...like I said keep clicking the light switch until your paste "sticks"...I think it is the non-bolded screen that is the "edit" screen.

Terrific photo's Pete...comments have been made on fan fitment though
