are racer.com connected to autosport.com? they have identical copy although they do cite autosport.com. at the bottom of articles. do autosport sell the copy to them or what?

I'm not entirely sure, but it's a fantastic way of getting around the stupidly low number of free articles you're granted per month on Autosport.
I normally use my quota up within a couple of weeks. But thanks to RACER, I'm able to read as many articles as I want.

They have a deal with Autosport to syndicate news articles.

Haymarket - who own Autosport - bought a majority stake in Racer from its founders in 2001 and then sold it back to them in 2012.
