Mecanica Continental Championship

It was a championship in the 50s in South America in which Fritz d'Orey drove a ex Chico Landi F1 Ferrari with a Corvette V8 engines. I read that there were more such exotic cars. Are there more ex F1 cars with a different engine? Are there more details about race results?

Never heard of Mecanica Continental. Mecánica Nacional, on the other hand ...
