Tech groups say they want to hold "NASCAR on the Moon" car race. Yes, up there.

As I remember a great many NASCAR fans were very upset when Toyota showed up. What will they say about non V8 'lectric cars???

"1 month and 7 days early?" that was my reaction before clicking on the link.

 

After clicking on it, well it makes a bit more sense now, some sort of experimental vehicle race on the Moon, which given we've put men and all sorts up there isn't that far fetched. I get the impression that the "NASCAR" reference is merely down to the sad fact that to the American mainstream, NASCAR = motor racing of any description :(
