Moffitt back to 9th. Danica still in 16th.
Moffitt restarting 13th--Danica 15th. Maybe she'll catch him? She'll be right behind him on the restart?

I didn't know Moffit was running in Cup. Last I saw he was driving in one of Shiggy Hattori's cars in K&N East.

He was replacing Brian Vickers, who should be in the car in Vegas.

I didn't know Moffit was running in Cup. Last I saw he was driving in one of Shiggy Hattori's cars in K&N East.
He drove for MWR at Dover last year as well. Only so many times you can lose the K&N title in the last race before moving up
Most of Moffitt's Cup starts have been in Jay Robinson equipment though...

Have heard several mentions (including yesterday's telecast) that the downforce changes might benefit Johnson but not Gordon, we'll see if this continues to be the case going forward. Also that Xfinity series might regain popularity with Cup drivers as the cars are more similar this year.

Why is Logano hated?
...because he was spoiled (both in the familial sense and getting top tier equipment throughout his stock car career). That said, since joining Team Penske he's done much better in Cup and is less of a brat.

Logano was groomed for success early with Gibbs, but such has been the case with just about every star debuting in the Gordon (past 25 year) era ~ Gordon, Johnson, Stewart, Kenseth, Edwards, the Busches,Keselowski, Harvick, Newman,Hamlin,etc. It has been quite the turnaround at penske. Wonder if it was a case of being wholly unsuited to the original car of tomorrow and the testing ban.

Yeah without the novelty element this year wonder how the Chase system and all its convolutions will be perceived and if more tinkering is in the works for 2016.
