Hello Richard,
Maybe I can help a little bit. I don’t think Pridmore and von Trips Stanguellini are the same. Unfortunately I don’t have the chassis number of the red Pridmore’s Stanguellini. Von Trips Stanguellini is number CS 00129 and it was bought by the American Clyde Dollar in 1960 who served the US Army in Germany. The car which is white colored (German racing colors) never left Europe and went to Italy where it was discovered again in 1988.
Also the von Trips Stanguellini never was in the “Villa Trips Museum für Rennsportgeschichte" but they had a TCA junior (Trips, Colotti, Auto Union) there which is sold as the museum indeed now is closed.
