Simple question.
Lets who has the biggest support.
but I can only vote for 1 driver - I support both McLaren drivers equally (+ have a few more favorites)
Team is easy though.

I'm not a normal one to support teams. I went with Alonso for driver, as I always have...
But I went with Manor for the team, because I just think 'fair play to them'
Posted 06 March 2015 - 20:35
I voted for Lewis and Mercedes. I also can say that Daniel Riccardio is equally my favorite driver but there is no option for two favorites!

I like Kimi and therefore Ferrari.
But I will also be pleased to see Bottas and Williams do well.
Posted 06 March 2015 - 21:17
Ricciardo
It is between McLaren and Red Bull. I voted McLaren because I really like their car and because there are people who seem to know that they are and will always be nowhere. I don't know how people know that, so the underdog gets my vote. Let's see
Posted 06 March 2015 - 21:28
Voted Ferrari.
I don't care much for one driver in particular, but ended up picking Ricciardo because he brought some much needed variety to a couple of races last year (not necessarily those he won).
Posted 06 March 2015 - 21:29
Kimi and Ferrari ;)
But I'm also cheering for Williams.

Not a fan of anyone except MS, but I do support Seb Vettel -so Seb and Ferrari. Plus, I like Kimi and an Alonso-less Ferrari, so that's a bonus. Good to be cheering for the red cars, again.

Lewis Hamilton and Williams.

I'm surprised not more people are saying Rosberg...
oh wait...no I'm not.
If I could have two I would add Nico to my choice.

So, Manor has the fifth biggest fanbase among F1 teams? Wow.
Posted 07 March 2015 - 09:23
McLaren, not i like them, but there's Honda
And Pastor, you never run out of surprises with him.

Really wow or sarcastic wow? I don't think there were many people watching who weren't happy for them in Monaco, felt for them after Suzuka, and didn't appreciate the work that has got them from the ashes to the grid at Melbourne. I'll be truly happy for them if they survive as a team (and I picked Williams!)
Posted 07 March 2015 - 10:08
Surprised by the lead of Ferrari in the poll. Guessing when more Brits wake up, that'll change.
As much as I like to lament the sometimes myopic view of British commentators, let's be fair to British fans: they've always cheered on the spectacle as a whole and there's definitely no lack of Ferrari flags at Silverstone.
Posted 07 March 2015 - 10:36
My support goes to Alonso, and normally I'd root for Ferrari but I dislike the Ferrari of Vettel and also dislike the "hardcore" Kimi fans who aren't realistic. Chose for Williams instead.

Not, not sarcastic, just surprised, because as of now the team even barely exists. And I think all smaller teams have their "feel good" moments, yet Manor edges ahead as a true underdog.

Suprised to see Kimis huge fan base seems to be deminishing. Its now even equal to Alonsos which was never the case until now.
Also surprised to see Ferrari having such a huge support. Isnt this a british boards and mclaren should be the top? It looks like the former huge mclaren fan base split to mercedes and williams.
Posted 07 March 2015 - 10:54
I am the only Lotus supporter!
Not really, I'm the other one
Posted 07 March 2015 - 11:33
Lewis and the mighty Merc

Jenson and Williams for me.

I don't care much about McLaren but with Honda is a whole different story.
Alonso is the measurement of how good a F1 driver can be
Posted 07 March 2015 - 13:38
None/None.
Posted 07 March 2015 - 13:45
As always Alonso as a driver and this time McLaren as a team.
Posted 07 March 2015 - 13:46
Button and McLaren
Honorable mentions to Ricciardo and Williams

You're reading too much into the poll. It all depends on who vote and who don't. And with Lewis having just won the WDC and Kimi having just had the shittiest year of his career it is more than likely that there are more Lewis fans than Kimi fans roaming these forums at the moment.

Yep, the recent champion factor explains a bit of Lewis' placing this time around (which was not the case one or two years ago as Kimi dominated) as does the fact that this is mainly a British forum. Kimi's bad year also counts for his descent in popularity of course. SV has also lower liking compared to two years ago, also explained by the bad-year factor, taking into account that he and FA had the most polarizing results as they were close to the best liked but also leaders in disliking.

There's more than one reason to support someone. Maybe worth another poll - "Do you believe the driver you primarily support is the best on the grid?"
