Started supporting because of underdog status and future prospects, kept supporting because of talent and personality.

Voted: for other reasons, because mostly, I think that is why I support my drivers, because whilst I do think they're good, I don't think they're necessarily the best on their grids, but there's definitely some sort of spark there that I like (if that makes sense?)

- For Lewis, it was a bit of a mixture of it being his first year in the sport/my first year watching and Nurburgring 2007 leaving a very distinct impression on me. I think he's the only driver that I can point to a moment and say "That's when I started supporting him", so far, at least.

The others I guess where a bit more gradual/snuck up on me and stuck:

- Felipe Nasr - noticed him in British F3, and I guess it went from there. Was consolidated in GP2, because whilst qualifying is not exactly his strongest point, he can overtake, and I liked that.

- JEV - again, noticed him in British F3, and kept an eye on him until he got into F1. Sort of the spiritual successor to my support of Alguersuari.

- Nico Hulkenberg - 2012 in the Force India, just because I thought he was doing a very good job despite having just sat out a year. Went from there really.

- Jaime Alguersuari - his race day performances, probably during mid 2010.

- Bruno Senna - again, race day performance - I think probably around his 2011 Lotus stint

Intangible. I liked him one day. You go through experiences together, highs, lows, they are just your driver.

This.

I became an Alonso fan in 2006 while watching him hold off Schumi in the epic 2nd place battle in Turkey.

First was Senna / mansell ,then hill then hakkinen
then alonso and Hamilton quite impressed with Daniel ricciardo last season though, for some of my heroes it was on track skill and bravery (Senna mansell Alonso and Hamilton ) , others it was also there off track personality (hill hakinen and Danny ric )

Jenson Button is probably my favourite driver on the grid.  Due in part to the fact he started out at Williams (although his on/off arguments about rejoining drove me close to the brink of losing interest in him) but I feel that aside from being a very solid racer, he just seems like a decent guy, someone you would be happy to have a chat with.

I like Bottas as I feel he is the driver at Williams who has the best outright speed and I was never a fan of Massa until he made the move to my team.
