It's been 34 races since any one of McLaren, Ferrari or Williams have won a race. This is the longest drought without a win by any one of the three most successful teams in F1.

My fellow Sierra Cosworth driver Sir Francis will do the honours.

I think Ferrari will get a win this year, and as much as it sickens me I'd say Vettel will get it.

Williams might have the goods with the engine but I'm not sure their strategy or pit crew will be aggressive enough.

Voted McLaren-Honda. For the lols... But also, because It'd be amazing, I'd love it from many many reasons.

Same, sentimental reasons, and simply because it would be amazing.

Ferrari for sure. I'd like if it were Williams though.

More races per season, makes it sounds worse than what it is.  That's only 1.75 seasons.

And just because historically they have a better record does not mean they are now the best teams.

Look how many years Lotus and Brabham went without wins...

I worry that if Mercedes have gotten their reliability in order, they could truly win every race this season.

Am a Merc fan and even I find this hard to believe. If they do it will be bittersweet as yes it will make me happy but then am defenceless on the forums that the wdc/wcc is not processional

Just because somebody else wins a race or two doesn't make the championship less 'processional'.

Merc has this won already.

Going off the gap to Vettel which really isn't representative, they have a minimum .5 second a lap buffer to the field and I think they can be out of DRS range by the time its enabled. So barring qualification hiccups and reliability it would be a decent bet for 10 quid anyone got odds for it?

Vettel and I think it will be a spectacular victory in the rain or something like that.

I had the distinct impression that Hamilton (at least) was cruising around well within the car's limits yesterday.

I don't see anything to suggest that Merc will be anywhere near as unreliable in 2015 as they were last year either.

I agree entirely; they might win every race.

Vettel only if something goes wrong with Merc or they have a get together again. Merc will win every race this season.

You're kidding surely....RB only outfit with a good enough chassis/strategy to rival merc, but now they're cooked with a lemon motor and a 100hp they can't use... The 3 you list in the poll won't come close.

If the Mercs take each other out, then a Ferrari, possibly scheming, devious, toe rag, backstabbing Vettel.

RB's chassis was already been surpassed by Williams at the end of last year and this year by both Williams and Ferrari. It was good last year especially in the first half of the season but they were out developed come the end of the season. If anything, Mercedes should have won all the races last year so this year should be a lot easier IMO with a season of experience under their belts.

As I said other teams winning 1 or 2 races makes it a bit easier to defend that it was not total domination besides its F1 there will be races with rain, safety cars etc that might give other teams a chance.

I know what you mean though

That's what I think. I think we are going to see some serious records broken this year, and people will be begging for 2004.

Not impossible, the way they're so ridiculously ahead means the only way they'll lose a race is if both drivers hit problems. Happened 3 times last year, but this is year 2 of this technology now, they should have better reliability now.

However I still think odds are it'll happen at least in 1 race. Say a wet race in which one guy hits mechanical trouble and the other spins out. Coin flip on whether Williams or Ferrari will be there to benefit - I'm voting Ferrari.
