It's Fontana Time!
(Don't worry Roger, all should be well as long as you don't hire the RBR security goons.
Fontana? What sort of track name is that?
You are absolutely right, a complete useless name with no history whatsover, and since it's California, the name was sold to a local club for money.
(I supose it's mandatory for every track to have something that is ridiculously tall. This one was too mundane so it got demolished)
So the track that was formerly known as Fontana and California Speedway is now the Auto Club Speedway.
(planes not included)
With so much name confusion it was best to just keep the trucks at home.
(nascar cutting cost rules are now also aplied to crash tests)
But Kurt couldn't stay at home of course. But since he has been dealing with assassins and ninjas of late he will be in disguise.
(we are still trying to confirm if the other one is still in it's lair, but our spy refuses to aproach fake bumps)
In the meantime Harvick has been pulling some dominating races.
(Kevin, doing the Superlicense Ev. Ex. 734: Do a Piquet Punch Stance)
But that doesn't seem to worry the other guys, much...
(gota love corporate photoshottings)
Ok, so we have a track with identity problems, troubled drivers onboard and incredibly erratic tv anchors...
(no way I will try to guess what DW is holding, could be deadly!)
And wrecks.... lots of wrecks!
(Darn! That Mears guy pitted first again! Time for plan B to show off my backers)
Sounds like the perfect scenario for more Nascar action!
We kick off at Saturday with the young punks of Xfinity.
So what the heck is Xfinity anyway? Believe it or not, it's a digital TV service provider. But not just ANY provider, it's... you guessed it, a renamed company named Comcast!
And that's Saturday for you!
On Sunday we have the 400 miles of the Auto Club! But which Auto Club? And what happens if they go over the 400 miles on a GWC? Will it rain at sunny California? Wait! It rains at California???
(this thread is hopeless! let's make a run for it on this Hollywoodesque obviously non functional
time machine!)
In a nutshell, if you surviced the madness above:
Friday - 19:50 - Qualifying for the Sprint Cup
Saturday - 12:45 - More Qualifying! (But it's for the Xfinity Series this time)
16:00 - A Race! The Drive4Clots 300
Sunday - 15:30 - Another Race! The Auto Club 400 (But which Auto Club?)
