The only way NASCAR could have been more blatant about Kurt not winning that race is if they sent the pace car out there to wreck him. That was a joke.

Agree. Short of having sponsors for late-race yellows, NASCAR couldn't be more obvious.

Hey !!  That's a damn good idea...

" This Yellow is brought to you by YellowCab"

" This Yellow is brought to you by Yellow Pages"

" This Yellow is brought to you by Yellow Discharge"

Poster race for modern era nascar. Suspicious debris caution leads to 2 gwc restarts and another debris caution, and double file restarts help BK jump to the win from 14th.
If Biffle spun with 2 laps left in regulation, think they let it play out like they did for the finish?

Nascar seems to think otherwise:

As Loki wrote, no they don't. Headline usage and official/formal track name are entirely different beasts :)

Hopefully, my explanation on the background on the "tower" and the wonderful steel mill history and connections to Fontana were enlightening :)

I appreciate that you didn't resort to the stereotypical redneck and meth jokes to describe the area in the OP

One other OP question, who's Roger?

You write a lenghty answer about the background of the track, try to be serious at my obvious unserious post about the track's name and you don't know who Roger is???

Let me just call the Spanish Inquisition and they will sort you out.

And... there are rednecks in LA??? Darn!

Oval racing is terrible!

I had this race on while I was preparing a very nice dinner and it was really a joke. These drivers cannot manage to finish the last 10 laps of a race without multiple yellows.

I just don't get the facination.

Are the fans just in it for a party?

I know not everyone can see it, but I see tongue in cheek from here...
