I have always considered this to be a very modern race car for its time, a true testimony as to Pete Brock and Kas Kastner's talent.

Here's pictures of it restored

I especially like the gas cap which looks like one from a front engined Indy 500 racer. And the all business, black crackle finish of the dash. And of course the rear spoiler which I still think was operable by the driver.

But what I would like to know, for history's sake, is what Pete Brock sold it for?. I called Kastner but all he would say it was Brock's to sell. As everyone knows Brock then began his Datsun period , starting BRE and doing well for them so the last thing Nissan wanted to see around his shop was some old British race car. Of if no one knows Brock's price, the car must have appeared for sale at various times for the next 30-40 years so I'll settle for any price named in any ad where someone has a copy of the ad. Thanks for any news...

Ask Pete; he's still around.
