Among these talks about improving the F1 show, I'm just curious how popular F1 really is in the world, especially compared to other sports. From what I observed most of my friends/family members recognised main F1 drivers but few know someone like Ericsson. I am from Poland and since Kubica's accident the popularity really went downhill. I found many conflicting reports on the internet about formula 1 popularity so guys, how good/bad is it really? I know that football is popular and curling less but is F1 in the top three most popular sports worldwide or far from the top ten? Let's discuss that 'popularity' problem.
