We had lunch in the Cafe Rouge at Victoria the other week and on the walls are black and white photos from the 1950s. One featured an Alfetta with No 34 on the nose. The shot was of a car in the pits, with minimal background and it appeared to be a 159 with the later nose design as used in 1950. I've had a look through my books and I'm sad to say that I don't have sufficient post-war Alfa pictures to be sure, but was it Fangio at Monaco?
Any one know for sure?
