Hi All;

Some information if possible please.

The Corolla currently driven by Bob Holden.

By any chance is it the ex Meadow Lea car which was driven by Alexandra Surplice?

Just to satisfy curiosity.

Just looking at race results up on the Mountain.

Bob is having an outstanding weekend!! :clap:

Not bad for a bloke that is WELL over three score year and ten!

Good luck to him!!

Cheers.

Roger. :wave:

As far as I'm aware it's always been the one colour scheme. Bob & Rauno Aaltonen used it together back in 1991 Bathurst - the 25th anniversary to their 1966 Cooper S victory.

Photos from Bathurst will be good to see.

My thoughts too. One carefull elderly owner. Only driven weekends,,,, at a racetrack near you!! For more than the occasional class placing.

From memory the Alexandra Surplice Levin was an earlier model anyway

Bob seemed to enjoy himself...But David Paterson in one of Bob's old Toyo cars really had the bit between his teeth...

As for livery, remember that a Group A/C car could have had several liveries in the period...but current owners negotiate with CAMS over what livery/spec the car will represent.
