Hi guys,

 

Sorry, I made a small (but crucial) mistake. Don't worry scheivlak you are still champ and yes it was unexpected (more on that later)! While copying kismet's results from Hungary I mistakenly given to Grayson 26 points for his win instead of 25. So our host kismet is runner-up and Grayson is in third. I corrected it already.

 

Up until Brazil, kismet was leading the pack with Grayson second followed closely by scheivlak. Those three were split by a mere 9.33 points. Then scheivlak put on a superb performance with his win and overtook them both to claim the title.

 

The question now is who will run the game in case kismet doesn't start it. I could do it, afterall I have my excel sheet in place, ready for calculations. I just hope I come up with good duels.

Just to let you all know... As noted above, I haven't been online in ages. I logged on today to inform you all that I wouldn't be running the game this year because I simply don't have the time or the energy to do so in a manner that you guys deserve. Case in point, this thread. Apparently I never posted the rest of last year's results? I seem to remember working on them but clearly they never found their way from my laptop to this thread. So sorry about that! And obviously a BIG thank you to M2000-5 who's kindly taken over and done my job for me. Thank you so, so much.

 

I'm glad the game's been popular enough to find someone new willing to host it. It was kind of sad to think about pulling the plug for good. Wish I could've bowed out on a higher note but, alas... At least I stayed true to myself 'til the end. kismet - not getting things done since 2005. Ish. I'd check but that would require actually getting things done.

 

Thanks to everyone who put up with my hopelessly inefficient gamehosting. It was getting worse and worse as years went by so I think it's safe to say we're in much better hands now!

 

I'll continue as a participant. The plan is to kick some ass this year. Beware!
