What do you mean by lose? If you mean not finish the season I think only Manor is at risk of that happening.
We might see a couple of the other teams being sold though.

I hope none. PUs are cheaper this year so it should ob OK, one race less also helps with the costs.

cheaper than last year but still damn expencive compared to 13 years ago when there was no limits on engines.
Or 2 years ago for that matter.
Manor most likely and maybe 1 other team.

I hope none, but most likely that one Force India or Manor. Force India have problems with cash and poor results in championship for now. But the main candidate is of course Manor.

Top engine teams like BMW were spending close to $300-500 million/year on engines alone when there were no limits.

No they weren't.

I don't see a bright future for Manor. In addition to that, an integer in the set [0,2]

Who knows how many Ferrari, Mercedes and Renault spend money to develop and produce engines. We only know that every team who can't do it on their own will pay 5 million for 1 engine. They work 24/7/365 to improve their engines, how many it costs to them?

Are you still peddling this BS? 12 years ago Jordan paid £30million for a season's worth of Cosworth engines. Please explain to me how that is cheaper than what the teams are currently paying for engines?

But if Jordan need to foot the bill for the new power units, the cost is believed to be around $12 million per year and the team would have to find the extra funding.
There are other articles from that period saying it might have been as high as $10-$15million (that's also what Paul Stoddart says Minardi paid for its Cosworth deal), but I can't see where you're getting that £30million a year figure from.

F1 is in serious **** due to greed and years of idiotic, nonsensical over-regulation. To pretend we won't lose a team or two this year would be naive. It's highly likely the way things are at the present moment.

Paddy Lowe now suggest that they should ditch one of the Free practice sessions on Friday to save costs.
Soon they will suggest to not race on sunday because it's too expencive.

Look at the bright side. We are adding a team.....HaasF1. Owned by a guy with a bigger wallet than Manor.

Interesting quote from Mark Glendenning, who used to be with Cosworth, during the Radio 4 coverage of FP3, that in the McLaren Cosworth era, the team used 264 engines in the 1993 season - I wonder how much that cost? Are you still peddling this BS? 12 years ago Jordan paid £30million for a season's worth of Cosworth engines. Just staying in the garage would save the same amount, though it might well hack the spectator off.Paddy Lowe now suggest that they should ditch one of the Free practice sessions on Friday to save costs.

Removing even more track time for the fans.
It's like these guys forgot why they're racing.

From McLaren's own site.
http://www.mclaren.c...-mclaren-mp4-8/
Ron Dennis had tried very hard to secure a deal with Renault, and even considered buying Ligier in order to obtain its Renault engines. McLaren would naturally have wanted to use Shell fuel and lubricants, and ultimately this proved a stumbling block with Renault’s sponsor, Elf. There was thus no alternative but to invest an estimated £6 million in developing the HB.
Wasn't able to find out the total cost though.

In a normal world, maybe 1 or 2....but if that were to happen, I reckon Bernie would get the jitters over falling numbers and would bail them out to ensure they survived the season...hence I voted none
