Does anyone know if there are upgrades planned for Anderstorp? I find the circuit is a curious one, as it has an FIA Grade 2 licence, and yet in the last ten years the only international championship to race there has been the WTCC and Formula Master. It seems that odd that a circuit with an FIA Grade 2 licence is in such poor condition, especially in the country with a fairly significant automotive industry.

They should be happy to race here at all! Neighbors complaining about noise and so forth doesn't make it easy to run a racetrack in Sweden these days.

Without knowing the case very well I think things have slowed down there a few years ago when they got reported to the authorities for exceeding the 95 dB limit. Furthermore the political climate in Sweden isn't exactly helpful for arranging any kind of racing-events. But I do remember some weirdo talking a few years back about making usre there would be a F1 race there again...

There might be an F1 round i Scandinavia in  the too distant future. NOT in Sweden, though.

At less than 2.5 miles it's too short to return as an F1 venue.

Have since found out Anderstorp has lost FIA certification.
