Well than i owe you an apology Graveltrappen although i still think nothing is worth discussing here. Thats exectly the behivour that gets Kimi so many fans. Some may find it rude and arrogant, the others find it cool.

I don't know how long/if this thread will last, and whether you're talking about driver parades in general or just talking about Kimi, but you might as well look at some more pictures from that very same Chinese GP and pictures of other driver parades, cause I've seen enough pictures of Kimi waving to the crowd.

He is who he is and that's why he is loved by an army of fans.

More than being upset with the OP, I'm a little disappointed with Mr. Gruner for tweeting it originally. I thought he was an accredited F1 journalist?

Just saw this news flash-Time to take arms!
Rozies Hattie, chief executive of Objects, a campaign on media sexism and 'sex object culture', said: "The driver parades show that the drivers are not just being displayed, but that they are very specifically directed to smile and wave at the fans, which does not look like a voluntary piece of horseplay on their part, but is displaying them as sex objects to the crowd."
'It is surely a very difficult position for a professional driver who should be concentrating on the dangerous activity of driving 220 mph plus while beating the snot (hopefully) out of his teammate few minutes before a race, but they have little option but to stand there and take it. That is something of which Bernie should be ashamed as it is clear that Bernie is very aware of these parades and approves of them, even threatening drivers who do not wear silly dumb-butt grins on their face.
'It's unfortunate that many a start to what would otherwise be a great race is being marred by what appears to be selfish and inconsiderate behaviour by Bernie, promoters and team bosses.
"No doubt, these parades are also dangerous, as they have doubtlessly contributed to many first lap accidents."

I saw that when it was tweeted, but the pic shows too small for me to discern what he's talking about. Little help here?

Kimi with his back turned to the crowd, while all the other drivers visible, are waving to the and acknowledging them.
